Chef Vaibhav, one of India’s most celebrated culinary artists, has transformed the food scene nationally and internationally with his innovative creations. His journey began in Daryaganj, where the aroma of traditional food sparked his passion. Frequent visits to ‘The Lalit’ further fueled his ambitions. Starting his career in hotel management in 2000, Chef Vaibhav, initially a Biology and Math student, found his true calling in cooking. His first memorable creation was a cake baked in a pressure cooker. Over time, he gained acclaim and experience, including working at the two-Michelin star restaurant NOMA in Denmark with Chef Rene Redzepi. Advocating for sustainable practices, Chef Vaibhav is associated with the Slow Food Movement and champions the Farm-to-Fork concept, promoting local food in restaurants and schools. His extensive career continues to inspire aspiring chefs and enrich the culinary world.
