Vikrant Batra, is an entrepreneur who has not only been a trendsetter in the restaurant industry but also the one to gift Delhi its first ever buzzing Café along with regional Indian cuisine Dhansoo Cafe, Bake House Comfort and Cloud brand Juicy Lucy Burgers. Food has always been the forte and the key feature of his brands. He believes in not only understanding the palette of the audience but also innovating and experimenting with it in the most comfortable manner.
Vikrant Batra, is a graduate from Hindu College, Delhi University, has completed a Restaurant Management course from the University of California & completed his MBA from Fore School of Management. Starting off by working in his inherited business at Batra Banquets, Mr. Batra opened his first Delhi Heights Restaurant in Rajouri Garden in 2009
Born and brought up in Delhi, Cafe Delhi Heights is a mix of Vikrant’s love for Delhi and the bigger love for food. This three generational, all day global comfort diner, was inaugurated in 2011. Spreading its wings over 28 outlets, is now not only nestled in the capital but also in Mumbai, Pune & Chandigarh. In his words, “Delhi has witnessed the rule of many Emperors from varied cultures and regions of the world. Therefore, it has adopted all kinds of traits in its culture. Food being an integral part of that adaption, we at CDH have tried to encapsulate all those flavors giving you the look and feel of the capital in its totality.” He plans to take this legacy forward by making it a global venture. Mr. Batra is expanding his business on both national and international levels. He plans to take forward his Café in various parts of the country.
