Sameer Singh

Sameer Singh is the Head of Strategic Expansion at Bharti Overseas. In his role, he leads portfolio expansion, new market entry, brand scale-up and strategic partnerships for the group’s restaurant businesses. He is focused on building a structured expansion pipeline, strengthening market intelligence and site selection, and supporting the growth of the group’s premium and casual dining formats across India.

Sameer brings over 26 years of experience across food service, retail, hospitality, real estate and expansion strategy. Prior to joining Bharti Overseas, he served as Vice President – Strategic Expansion (Indian Sub-Continent) at Jubilant FoodWorks, where he led network growth across Domino’s, Popeyes, Dunkin’ and Hong’s Kitchen. During his tenure, he helped accelerate store expansion, supported the India launch of Popeyes, and strengthened the company’s site-selection and predictive analytics capabilities.

Earlier in his career, Sameer held senior roles with CP Group India, Metro Cash & Carry India, Aditya Birla Retail and Bharti Holdings’ retail partnership with Walmart. His experience spans market-entry strategy, real estate and portfolio development, franchise expansion, asset monetisation and the rollout of multi-city consumer businesses. He began his career in hospitality with The Oberoi Group and has also worked with Barista Coffee, Reliance Industries, Arvind Brands and Claridges Hotels & Resorts.

Sameer holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IMS, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Delhi. He is also enrolled as an Independent Director with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
