Rashmi Uday Singh is one of India’s most celebrated food and hospitality personalities, widely recognized for her pioneering contributions to food journalism, vegetarianism, and culinary storytelling for over three decades. An acclaimed TV host, author of 40 books, and a recipient of the prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Award, she has earned global recognition for reshaping culinary narratives. Honored with the distinguished Chevalier knighthood by the Government of France, she has several groundbreaking achievements to her credit, including authoring India’s first city restaurant guide and the world’s first vegetarian guide to Paris. A former Commissioner of Income Tax with the Indian Revenue Service, she later pursued her passion for food and media, training with the BBC and working on international collaborations, including projects with Gordon Ramsay. Through her initiative HospitalityHope, she continues to champion and uplift the hospitality industry’s unsung heroes.
