Chef Om Nayak

Chef Om Nayak is a hands-on celebratory chef, restaurateur and a great exponent of the culinary arts.  He is a top-rated cuisine consultant and consults for start-ups across India, the Middle East, the U.K. and Hong Kong.

Master at exposing new culinary ingredients to audiences across India, Chef Om partnered with Mr Prahlad Kakar to launch olive oil throughout India in 2008.  He was part of the International Olive Council of Spain in India.

Chef Om was responsible for conceptualizing, curating, launching and marketing two pizza brands in Mumbai (i) HUNDO Pizza and (ii) Slyce Pizza.  Both pizza brands are being expanded pan-India. 

Chef Om owns four successful and highly acclaimed culinary brands (i) Chef Om’s Hospitality, (ii) The Pasta Bowl Company, (iii) Krisa Catering Company, and (iv) Ye hai Bombay Meri Jaan.  The Pasta Bowl Company reflects his experience and love for Italian cuisine. He focused and experimented with Sicilian Cuisine as he felt it was more suited and agreeable to the Indian palate.

Chef Om is an alumnus of the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal.  He has held responsible positions with hotels in Bengaluru, namely, Taj Hotels, ITC Windsor, Leela Kempinski, Goldfinch Hotels.  He worked at Sheraton Hotel & towers in Dubai and successfully developed the culinary brands of the hotel.
